Turning Tides

We went to meet April and Catharine of Turning Tides at their drop in centre at St Clare’s Community Hub in Worthing today.

Turning Tides approached us recently as they needed a Flood Risk Assessment in order to seek a change to their currently permitted activities to allow them to provide overnight accommodation at St Clare’s Community Hub for 12 homeless persons.

It came at a good time for us as we like to undertake at least one charitable project a year, and this one was right up our street!

It was great to be able to pop in to say hello, have a brief tour of the centre and hand over a copy of the Assessment.

We have also submitted a copy to Adur and Worthing Councils for their consideration and look forward to hearing from them.

We wish all the staff and guests at Turning Tides a Happy Christmas.
